Book Club This Week!

The Hunger Games

Our new book for January/February is "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. I just read it with Dave and we both LOVED it, I hope you will, too. The waiting list at the library is pretty long, so I suggest you get your name on it ASAP. Our meeting to discuss this book will be Thursday, February 19th at 7:30. Hope to see you all there!

Twilight--The Movie

As I'm sure you are all aware, Twilight opens in theaters this Friday. There are two groups in our ward attending different showings. I personally just bought my ticket when I was at the mall today for the Midnight release Thursday night. There are several sisters in our ward attending the Friday night 7:15 showing as well.

New Book for November

Okay, once again I am reccommending a book I haven't yet read. I have heard many great reviews from many people on it, so if it turns out to be less than stellar, don't bring your torches and pitchforks to the meeting!

The book is titled, "The Poisonwood Bible" and the author is Barabara Kingsolver. Our meeting for this book will be at 7:30 on the 3rd Thursday in November, which just happens to be the 20th.

October's Books: "Stargirl" and "Love, Stargirl"

All right ladies, here we go with our new book club blog. I expect a LOT of group participation out of you! This is ANOTHER reminder of this month's books. Our meeting will be on the 16th, (same bat place, same bat channel).
